THE COMPANY
Mekanica Draghetti was founded in 1974 (former Bianchini & Draghetti) starting from an idea and entrepreneurial spirit of two young "emilians". The company immediately operated in the field of subcontracting, focusing on components for automotive, hydraulic, biomedical sectors, and then specializing in the fields of industrial machinery, shipbuilding and aeronautical. A typical path of the best Emilian realities, within the "Land of the engines" where Modena and Bologna are now more than ever the milestones of technology and performance. In this area Mekanica Draghetti qualified itself and stand out from competitors.

The current Mekanica Draghetti S.n.c. was born from the spin-off of the company Bianchini & Draghetti company. with a staff of 10 employees.

Despite the economic downturn, Mekanica Draghetti invests in a new research and development department for the marine sector.

Cooperation with Böning Automationstechnologie
Mekanica Draghetti starts an important cooperation with the German company Böning Automationstechnologie and gets into the international market.

Take-over of first Public Procurements for Italian Ministry of Defense for the production of high precision mechanical components.

Mekanica Draghetti purchases a brand new horizonthal multipallet CNC machinery and hires new staff.

Emilia’s earthquake
The seismic events of 2012 cause a sharp slowdown in the growth of the company, that still keeps its production active.

Mekanica Draghetti improves its quality control department by hiring a mechanical engineer and buyng a brand new CMM Zeiss Contura G2 7/7/6.
Moreover, Mekanica Draghetti buys a new 5-axis machining center and a vertical warehouse.
